This week I’m out at Yummy Mongolian Grill located at 316 SE 123rd Ave in Vancouver.  This is an AWESOME place to bring your kids since there are so many options to choose from-even for the pickiest of eaters.   And hey, what kid doesn’t love to watch their food being cooked in a big open kitchen?  Best part for parents is kids 9 and under eat FREE- see restaurant for details.

I’m really enjoying my time here.  People are nice, place is clean and smell is so yummy.  Just wish I could eat.  And the Pepsi here, OOTW!

This weeks road trip took us to the fabulous BiZi Farms.  We had a great time shopping in the farmers market, getting lost in the corn maze and checking out the pumpkin patch.

I did get pretty upset when Coconut Man went rogue and ran me over with the John Deere tractor.  What a jerk.  If he pulls a stunt like that one more time, he will be looking for a new pair of penguins to hang out with.

I suggest checking out BiZi Farms for your familes pumpkin patch outing this year.  It’s a family run place, it has a petting zoo and fun activities for the kiddos and a HUGE pumpkin patch.  Oh and the best part, it’s in VANCOUVER!

Wow, what a week.  Has it been hot outside or what?  As Penguins, we don’t take to heat very well.  We’ve had to stay super hydrated and we were in need of some ice. 

We found it over at Glenwood Grocery.  The folks over there are super and really make you feel at home no matter if your stopping in for a bottle of Pepsi or filling up your tank.  John and his sister Leslie own Glenwood and have for the last 20 years so they know their stuff.  And their store manager Tara, well she’s as fun as they come!

Customer Thank You- Battle Ground Cinema

Today we drove out to Battle Ground Cinema to say thanks to Isaac and his team.  What a great theater.  It’s clean and the people are friendly and they have this nacho cheese machine that just keeps going and going and going!  We don’t have anything like that at Corwin (hinthint..for management reading this..)

We got to check out the film room and that was super cool.  Plus we saw Yoda.  That guy could really benefit from a communications class! 

I was hoping to watch “My Idiot Brother” because it reminded me of Dewey but we missed the start time since Dewey and Coconut man were dinking around outside with the Elvis and Marilyn Monroe statues.  I think I’ll leave them at home with a sitter next time!
